Hiking routes in Mallorca
The gentle charm of Selva
Just 32 km from Palma, the municipality of Selva brings together five small villages resting gently at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana: Selva, Caimari, Moscari, Biniamar and Binibona.
Each one offers a different perspective of the island, perfect to explore on foot. From Binibona, embraced by nature, to Caimari, known for its olive oil tradition and serene surroundings, the landscape invites you to take your time.
Moscari, just next door, connects directly with the mountains. With its stone houses and the church of Santa Ana, and barely 260 residents, it is one of the calmest spots in the area — ideal for slow and scenic walks.
Strolling through Biniamar, Caimari, Moscari and Binibona reveals an easy and rewarding route, full of details that are worth stopping for… and simply observing.
Nature, history and a way of life
Mallorca is not only coastline. Those who walk its paths discover an island that reveals itself quietly — through its mountain trails, dry stone walls, forests and centuries-old villages.
Alongside the circular route through Selva, Ca’n Beneït is also close to some of the most iconic hikes on the island: Puig de Maria, Puig des Teix, Puig de Galatzó, Maristel·la Hermitage or Fita del Ram. Each trail is a different way to meet the island — to look at it from another height, another rhythm.
