Olive Grove Trail
A walk among roots, aromas and the origin of olive oil.
Can you picture yourself walking through our olive fields at sunset, step by step uncovering the secrets of one of the Mediterranean’s most prized fruits? A free walk through peaceful landscapes and dry-stone walls that have stood the test of time.
With a Mallorcan soul
This route invites you to get up close to the traditional cultivation of olives in the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We walk among ancient trees — the same ones that have shaped this landscape for centuries — while we learn about their history, the artisanal oil-making process, and of course… taste it.
At Ca’n Beneït, the olive grove is part of who we are. A sensory experience that flows through terraced fields and ends at our own olive mill, where oil is still produced the traditional way.
Walking these trails at sunset is a way to reconnect with the island’s essence… and with the quiet art of cultivating slowly, just like before. Add the experience to your stay — at your pace.
Every drop holds a legacy. And every step among these trees reveals a piece of history.
They say the Phoenicians and Greeks brought the olive tree to these lands.
Later, the Arabs spread olive oil culture — and with it, words like almazara and azzayt, “the juice of olives”. Today, Mallorca is a benchmark for extra virgin olive oil, with more than 8,000 hectares of groves and 28 protected Designations of Origin.
